Yes, its time! Time for our holiday to Cape Verde. My alarm sounds in the middle of the night, arghh…. I hate getting out of bed so early.
The kids are instantly awake and very happy! We drive to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport in the middle of the night as well. We will try Schiphol’s Holiday Valet Parking for the first time. We park our car next to arrivals and only need to walk 5 minutes to the check-in desk, perfect!
After check-in we take some time to relax behind the customs. The kids have lots of fun: cuddling the huge stuffed animals, exploring Nemo and playing at the airplane playground. I take some time for shopping and buy myself some new sunglasses.
Its boarding time! The kids behave quite ok. They sleep for a while and spend the rest of the flight, playing on their ipads. We arrive after flying 6:45. When we walk out of the terminal I feel the sun on my skin, its 25 degrees celsius, I love it!
After a 20 minutes taxi drive, which costs only €12,50, we arrive in our RIU hotel, now our holiday in Cape Verde actually begins!
